• Enjoy local food and simple countryside meals along the route

Day 1: Saigon to Dong  Xoai, via Cuchi tunnels

Your three day motorcycle tour from Saigon begins with a ride out of Ho Chi Minh City toward the Cu Chi countryside. As the traffic fades, the route opens into quieter back roads, rubber plantations, farms, and rural villages.

The main highlight of the day is the Cu Chi Tunnels, one of the most historic wartime sites in southern Vietnam. You can stop here to visit the tunnel system and learn more about its role during the war. If you prefer more riding time, the visit can be shortened or skipped depending on your interest.

After Cu Chi, the ride continues toward Dong Xoai through a mix of paved roads, countryside lanes, and light off-road sections. Dong Xoai is used as a practical overnight stop before the tour continues deeper toward Nam Cat Tien National Park on the following day.

Overnight in Dong Xoai.

Day 2: Dong Xoai to Nam Cat Tien

After breakfast, the ride continues from Dong Xoai toward Nam Cat Tien National Park. This day brings you deeper into the countryside of southern Vietnam, where the roads become quieter and the scenery feels more remote.

The route includes rubber plantations, cashew farms, dirt tracks, countryside lanes, and small rural villages. Depending on the weather and trail conditions, Saigon Riders will choose a suitable mix of on-road and off-road sections to keep the ride enjoyable and safe.

As you get closer to Nam Cat Tien, the landscape becomes greener and more peaceful. Jungle scenery, riverside areas, and forest surroundings make this part of the tour one of the most rewarding sections of the journey.

Overnight near Nam Cat Tien National Park.

Day 3: Nam Cat Tien – Saigon

The final day of this three day motorcycle tour from Saigon starts near Nam Cat Tien National Park, a rich lowland tropical forest and biosphere reserve in southern Vietnam. While this tour does not focus on a full national park visit, the surrounding area offers some of the best riding scenery of the journey.

Depending on the season, the trails around Nam Cat Tien can feel very different. In the rainy season, muddy and slippery sections can make the ride more challenging. In the dry season, dirt tracks through cashew plantations, stream crossings, rural paths, and dusty trails offer a different kind of adventure.

After enjoying the off-road sections around Nam Cat Tien, the route continues past Tri An Lake before heading back toward Ho Chi Minh City. Saigon Riders will choose a suitable mix of off-road and on-road riding based on the weather, trail conditions, and your riding level.

The tour ends in Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon, completing a short but rewarding motorcycle adventure through Cu Chi Tunnels, Nam Cat Tien National Park, jungle trails, plantations, and the southern Vietnamese countryside.
