This tour is a great choice for travelers with a tight schedule in Ho Chi Minh City who still want to enjoy more time on a 250cc dirt bike in Saigon off-road areas. It is also a good introduction for anyone who wants to taste a dirt bike ride before joining longer multi-day enduro tours in Vietnam.
Leave the busy streets of Ho Chi Minh City behind and discover a completely different side of Saigon on our Saigon surrounds by dirt bike tour. This full-day off-road adventure takes you beyond the urban traffic and into peaceful countryside trails, where villages, rubber plantations, rice paper drying fields, farms, and riverside landscapes create a riding experience that feels far away from the city.
Although the Cu Chi Tunnels are included in this tour, this experience is much more than a typical Cu Chi day trip. The real highlight is the ride itself: dirt trails, quiet backroads, rural scenery, local life, and the freedom that only a dirt bike can offer.
The city may be close behind, but once you are riding through the countryside, it feels like another world.

Your guide will meet you at Saigon Riders’ location in district 12. After a short briefing, bike check, and safety introduction, the ride begins at around 8:30 AM.
The first part of the journey gives you a real look at how Saigon moves in the morning. You will follow your guide through the city traffic and see how local riders manage the busy streets with a unique kind of order inside the chaos.
Soon after, the city starts to fade behind you.
Once outside the busy urban area, the ride opens into quiet countryside roads and dirt trails. This is where the Saigon surrounds by dirt bike experience truly begins.
You will ride along scenic paths that zigzag through villages, farms, rubber plantations, and rural landscapes. Depending on the season and route conditions, you may pass rice paper drying fields, small local workshops, riverside paths, and open green areas that show a softer and more peaceful side of Southern Vietnam.
There will be several stops along the way for photos, water breaks, and short local visits. These stops are also a chance to see how people live and work in the countryside surrounding Ho Chi Minh City.
The tour continues toward rural areas near the Saigon River, where the landscape becomes greener and more open. You will see a different rhythm of life: slower, quieter, and deeply connected to the land.
The tour includes a visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels, giving you time to explore one of the most historic sites near Ho Chi Minh City.
The nearby firing range can also be arranged as an optional stop. Ammunition costs at the firing range are not included in the standard tour price and will be paid directly by guests.
Around midday, we stop at a local restaurant where beef dishes are the highlight. This is a good opportunity to enjoy Southern Vietnamese countryside cuisine after a morning of riding.
Depending on availability, lunch may include grilled beef, crispy rice, fresh herbs, local vegetables, and other regional flavors.
After lunch, the ride continues through a mix of on-road sections, countryside roads, dirt trails, muddy tracks, and dusty paths before returning toward Ho Chi Minh City.
This Saigon dirt bike tour offers a strong taste of Vietnam’s off-road riding culture without requiring a multi-day commitment. It is a great adventure for families, friends, and colleagues who want to explore Saigon country trails, rural scenery, local food, and the freedom of riding beyond the usual tourist route.
The tour finishes at around 4:00 PM at Saigon Riders’ location.
